- 2 apples, peeled and diced
- 4 cups water
- 1 cup milk (or almond milk)
- 2 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- ¼ tsp nutmeg
- Pinch of salt
- Toppings: extra maple syrup, walnuts, raisins
Step-by-Step Instructions
- Grease the inside of your crockpot with a little butter or cooking spray (this prevents sticking).
- Add all ingredients—oats, apples, water, milk, maple syrup, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt—to the crockpot. Stir to combine.
- Cover and cook on LOW for 7-8 hours (overnight is perfect!).
- In the morning, give it a good stir. It will thicken as it sits.
- Serve with your favorite toppings.
