- 2 cups self-rising flour
- 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
In a bowl, combine self-rising flour and Greek yogurt until a dough forms.
Lightly flour a surface and knead the dough for 1-2 minutes until smooth.
Roll out the dough to about ½ inch thick and cut into donut shapes.
Heat oil in a deep pan over medium heat.
Fry donuts in batches for 1-2 minutes per side until golden brown.
Remove and drain on paper towels.
Optionally dust with powdered sugar or glaze before serving.
- If you don’t have self-rising flour, mix 2 cups all-purpose flour with 3 tsp baking powder and ½ tsp salt.
- For a healthier version, air fry at 350°F (175°C) for 6-8 minutes.
- Use flavored yogurt for a twist in taste.
