Air Fryer Macaroni Cheese Balls Recipe

Crispy on the outside, creamy and cheesy inside — these air fryer mac & cheese balls are a crowd-pleasing comfort snack without the mess of deep frying. Ideal for parties, quick bites, or cheesy cravings!

- 2 cups cooked macaroni
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- ½ cup cream cheese
- ¼ cup grated Parmesan
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp black pepper
- ½ cup all-purpose flour
- 2 eggs beaten
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- Oil spray for air fryer
In a bowl, mix macaroni, cheddar, cream cheese, Parmesan, garlic powder, and pepper.
Shape mixture into small balls and freeze for 20 minutes to firm.
Coat each ball in flour, dip in beaten eggs, then roll in breadcrumbs.
Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
Lightly spray balls with oil and place in air fryer basket.
Air fry for 10–12 minutes or until golden and crispy.
Serve hot with marinara or ranch dip.
- Freeze the balls longer if too soft to handle.
- Add cooked bacon bits or jalapeños for variation.
- Store leftovers in fridge and reheat in the air fryer for best results.
