Ingredients
  

  • Rolled oats – 2 cups
  • Baking powder – 1 tsp
  • Ground cinnamon – 1 tsp
  • Salt – 1/4 tsp
  • Milk – 2 cups any type
  • Egg – 1 large
  • Maple syrup – 1/4 cup
  • Vanilla extract – 1 tsp
  • Melted butter or coconut oil – 2 tbsp
  • Chopped nuts or berries – 1/2 cup optional

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish.
  • In a bowl, mix oats, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
  • In another bowl, whisk milk, egg, maple syrup, vanilla, and melted butter.
  • Combine wet and dry ingredients, then fold in nuts or berries if using.
  • Pour mixture into the prepared dish and smooth the top.
  • Bake for 35 minutes or until golden and set in the center.
  • Let cool slightly before slicing and serving.

Notes

  • Use dairy-free milk and oil to make it vegan.
  • Add mashed banana or applesauce for extra moisture and flavor.
  • Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 5 days or freeze for later.
