- 4 thick slices of brioche or challah bread
- 2 large eggs
- ½ cup whole milk
- 1 tbsp granulated sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- ½ tsp ground cinnamon
- Pinch of salt
- 1 tbsp butter for frying
- Maple syrup & fresh berries for serving
Whisk eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt in a shallow bowl.
Dip bread slices into the mixture, coating both sides well.
Heat butter in a skillet over medium heat.
Cook bread slices 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown.
Serve hot with maple syrup and berries.
