- 10 cups small pretzel twists
- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup light brown sugar packed
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ½ teaspoon baking soda
Preheat oven to 300°F (150°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Place pretzels in a large mixing bowl.
In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat, then stir in brown sugar until smooth and bubbly (about 3 minutes).
Remove from heat, stir in vanilla and baking soda (mixture will foam).
Pour caramel mixture over pretzels, toss to coat evenly.
Spread coated pretzels on prepared baking sheet.
Bake for 30 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes.
Cool completely before serving or storing.
