- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 packet taco seasoning mix
- ½ cup water
- 1 can 4 oz diced green chiles
- 1 can 8-count refrigerated biscuits
- 1 cup sour cream
- ½ cup mayonnaise
- 1 small onion finely chopped
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
Brown ground beef in a skillet, drain excess fat, then add taco seasoning and water; simmer 5 minutes.
Stir in green chiles and set aside.
Press biscuit dough into the bottom of the dish to form a crust.
In a separate bowl, mix sour cream, mayo, and chopped onion.
Spread the sour cream mixture over the biscuit layer.
Add seasoned beef evenly over the top.
Sprinkle shredded cheese on top.
Bake uncovered for 25–30 minutes until golden and bubbly.
Let rest 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
You can substitute Greek yogurt for sour cream.
Add jalapeños for a spicy kick or beans for added fiber.
Store leftovers covered in the fridge for up to 3 days.
