Cheesy Corn Balls Crispy: Crunchy Outside, Gooey Inside

Golden, crispy, and loaded with gooey cheese and sweet corn, these Cheesy Corn Balls are a perfect snack or party starter. They’re easy to prepare and disappear fast — serve with ketchup, mayo, or spicy dip!

- 1 cup boiled sweet corn crushed slightly
 - ¾ cup grated mozzarella cheese
 - 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
 - 2 tbsp cornflour
 - ¼ tsp black pepper
 - ½ tsp chili flakes
 - ¼ tsp oregano or mixed herbs
 - Salt to taste
 - ¼ cup breadcrumbs plus more for coating
 - Oil for frying
 
 
In a bowl, combine corn, cheese, flours, seasonings, and breadcrumbs.
Mix well into a soft dough that holds shape.
Roll into small balls and coat with more breadcrumbs.
Chill for 10–15 minutes for firmness.
Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
Deep fry until golden and crisp.
Drain on paper towel and serve hot with dip.
 
- For air frying, spray balls with oil and cook at 375°F (190°C) for 10–12 mins.
 
- Add chopped jalapeños for a spicy twist.
 
- Use frozen corn but thaw and drain before using.
