Cheesy Corn Balls Crispy: Crunchy Outside, Gooey Inside

Golden, crispy, and loaded with gooey cheese and sweet corn, these Cheesy Corn Balls are a perfect snack or party starter. They’re easy to prepare and disappear fast — serve with ketchup, mayo, or spicy dip!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup boiled sweet corn crushed slightly
  • ¾ cup grated mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp cornflour
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp chili flakes
  • ¼ tsp oregano or mixed herbs
  • Salt to taste
  • ¼ cup breadcrumbs plus more for coating
  • Oil for frying

Instructions
 

  • In a bowl, combine corn, cheese, flours, seasonings, and breadcrumbs.
  • Mix well into a soft dough that holds shape.
  • Roll into small balls and coat with more breadcrumbs.
  • Chill for 10–15 minutes for firmness.
  • Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
  • Deep fry until golden and crisp.
  • Drain on paper towel and serve hot with dip.

Notes

  • For air frying, spray balls with oil and cook at 375°F (190°C) for 10–12 mins.
  • Add chopped jalapeños for a spicy twist.
  • Use frozen corn but thaw and drain before using.
