These Cheesy Taco Sticks are stuffed with seasoned beef and gooey cheese, wrapped in golden baked dough. A fun and flavorful twist on taco night — perfect for dipping, snacking, or party sharing

- ½ lb ground beef
- 1 tbsp taco seasoning
- ⅓ cup salsa optional
- 1 can refrigerated pizza dough or crescent roll sheet
- 1 cup shredded cheddar or Mexican blend cheese
- 1 egg beaten, for egg wash
- 1 tbsp butter melted, for brushing
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- Optional: chopped cilantro sour cream, or guacamole for serving
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment.
Cook ground beef in a skillet over medium heat; add taco seasoning and salsa, then simmer until thickened.
Roll out dough and cut into rectangles.
Place a spoonful of taco meat and cheese in the center of each piece.
Fold and seal edges tightly to form sticks.
Place seam-side down on the baking sheet.
Brush with egg wash and bake for 15–18 minutes or until golden brown.
Brush with melted butter and garlic powder after baking.
Serve warm with dips of choice.
- You can use cooked shredded chicken or black beans for variation.
- Freeze unbaked sticks and bake when needed.
- Add jalapeños or hot sauce inside for extra heat.
