These Cheesy Taco Sticks are stuffed with seasoned beef and gooey cheese, wrapped in golden baked dough. A fun and flavorful twist on taco night — perfect for dipping, snacking, or party sharing

Ingredients
  

  • ½ lb ground beef
  • 1 tbsp taco seasoning
  • cup salsa optional
  • 1 can refrigerated pizza dough or crescent roll sheet
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar or Mexican blend cheese
  • 1 egg beaten, for egg wash
  • 1 tbsp butter melted, for brushing
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • Optional: chopped cilantro sour cream, or guacamole for serving

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment.
  • Cook ground beef in a skillet over medium heat; add taco seasoning and salsa, then simmer until thickened.
  • Roll out dough and cut into rectangles.
  • Place a spoonful of taco meat and cheese in the center of each piece.
  • Fold and seal edges tightly to form sticks.
  • Place seam-side down on the baking sheet.
  • Brush with egg wash and bake for 15–18 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Brush with melted butter and garlic powder after baking.
  • Serve warm with dips of choice.

Notes

  • You can use cooked shredded chicken or black beans for variation.
  • Freeze unbaked sticks and bake when needed.
  • Add jalapeños or hot sauce inside for extra heat.
