These rich and velvety chocolate truffles are the perfect indulgence for any chocolate lover. With a smooth ganache center coated in cocoa or sprinkles, they’re elegant yet incredibly simple to make. Ideal for gifting or enjoying as a sweet treat with coffee.

- 8 oz 225g semi-sweet chocolate, finely chopped
- ½ cup 120ml heavy cream
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Cocoa powder sprinkles, or chopped nuts (for coating)
Place chopped chocolate in a heatproof bowl.
Heat cream in a saucepan until it just begins to simmer.
Pour hot cream over chocolate and let sit 2 minutes.
Stir until smooth, then mix in vanilla extract.
Cover and refrigerate until firm, about 2 hours.
Scoop small portions and roll into balls with your hands.
Roll each truffle in cocoa powder, sprinkles, or nuts.
- Use good-quality chocolate for the best flavor.
- You can add a splash of liqueur for an adult twist.
- Store in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
