Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 small onion chopped
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 eggs
  • ½ cup Bisquick mix
  • 1 tbsp ketchup optional, for extra flavor
  • Pickle slices optional, for serving

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Brown ground beef and onion in a skillet; drain excess fat.
  • Stir in salt, pepper, and ketchup if using.
  • Spread beef mixture in a greased 9-inch pie plate.
  • Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese evenly over beef.
  • In a bowl, whisk together milk, eggs, and Bisquick until smooth.
  • Pour Bisquick mixture over beef and cheese layer.
  • Bake 25-30min, or until a knife inserted comes out clean.
  • Let cool 5min before slicing and serving.

Notes

  • Substitute ground turkey for beef for a lighter version.
  • Try Monterey Jack or Swiss cheese for a flavor twist.
  • Leftovers reheat well for next-day lunches.
  • Top with tomato, lettuce, and pickles just before serving.
