This hearty and delicious breakfast casserole is made with buttery crescent rolls, eggs, cheese, and savory breakfast meat. It's the perfect make-ahead dish for brunch, holidays, or feeding a crowd. Quick to prepare and always a hit!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 can crescent roll dough 8 oz
  • 6 large eggs
  • ¼ cup milk
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup cooked and crumbled sausage or bacon
  • ¼ cup diced bell peppers optional
  • ¼ cup chopped onions optional
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  • Unroll crescent dough and press into bottom of baking dish, sealing seams.
  • In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, and pepper.
  • Sprinkle cooked sausage or bacon evenly over the crescent dough.
  • Add bell peppers and onions if using.
  • Pour egg mixture evenly over the top.
  • Sprinkle shredded cheese on top.
  • Bake for 30–35 minutes or until eggs are set and top is golden.
  • Let cool slightly before slicing and serving.

Notes

  • Swap sausage with ham or turkey for variety.
  • Add spinach or mushrooms for a veggie boost.
  • This can be assembled the night before and baked fresh in the morning.
