Ingredients
  

  • 16 oz whole button or cremini mushrooms cleaned
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs beaten
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs panko preferred
  • 3 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil spray

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment.
  • Set up 3 bowls: flour, beaten eggs, and breadcrumb mixture with Parmesan and seasonings.
  • Dip mushrooms in flour, then egg, then coat in breadcrumbs.
  • Place mushrooms on the baking sheet in a single layer.
  • Lightly spray with olive oil.
  • Bake for 20–25 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crisp.
  • Serve hot with your favorite dip or garlic aioli.

Notes

  • Use panko for maximum crunch.
  • Add chili flakes to breadcrumbs for a spicy version.
  • Best eaten fresh—reheat in oven or air fryer to keep crispy.
  • Great as a meatless appetizer or game day snack.
