- 16 oz whole button or cremini mushrooms cleaned
- ½ cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs beaten
- 1 cup breadcrumbs panko preferred
- 3 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp onion powder
- ½ tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil spray
Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment.
Set up 3 bowls: flour, beaten eggs, and breadcrumb mixture with Parmesan and seasonings.
Dip mushrooms in flour, then egg, then coat in breadcrumbs.
Place mushrooms on the baking sheet in a single layer.
Lightly spray with olive oil.
Bake for 20–25 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crisp.
Serve hot with your favorite dip or garlic aioli.
