Dairy-Free Coconut Chocolate Mousse Recipe

This creamy, silky chocolate mousse is made entirely dairy-free with rich coconut milk and dark chocolate. It’s a simple yet indulgent dessert that feels luxurious but takes minimal effort. Perfect for anyone who loves chocolate without the dairy guilt!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 can full-fat coconut milk chilled overnight
  • 200 g dairy-free dark chocolate roughly chopped
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup or agave nectar
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • A pinch of sea salt
  • Fresh berries or shaved chocolate for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Melt dark chocolate in a heatproof bowl over simmering water until smooth.
  • Scoop out thick coconut cream from the chilled can (discard liquid).
  • Beat coconut cream until fluffy using a hand mixer.
  • Add melted chocolate, maple syrup, vanilla, and salt; fold gently until combined.
  • Spoon into serving cups and chill for at least 2 hours.
  • Garnish with fresh berries or chocolate shavings before serving.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add a dash of espresso powder to the chocolate mix.
  • Make sure the coconut milk is full-fat and well-chilled for best texture.
  • This mousse can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days.
