Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar packed
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 ½ cups chopped pecans toasted

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl, cream butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until fluffy.
  • Add eggs one at a time, then mix in vanilla extract.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, and salt.
  • Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture.
  • Fold in toasted chopped pecans.
  • Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto baking sheet.
  • Bake for 10–12 minutes or until edges are golden brown.
  • Cool on baking sheet for 2 mins, then transfer to wire rack.

Notes

  • Toast pecans for extra flavor—350°F for 7-8 mins.
  • Dough can be chilled for thicker cookies.
  • Store in airtight container up to 5 days or freeze for 3 months.
