Flaky, buttery, and coated in sweet cinnamon sugar—cruffins are the magical lovechild of croissants and muffins! These bakery-style treats are surprisingly easy to make at home with puff pastry, delivering layers of cinnamon-spiced indulgence in every bite.

- 1 sheet puff pastry thawed
 - 2 tablespoons melted butter
 - ¼ cup granulated sugar
 - 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
 - Extra melted butter for brushing
 - Additional cinnamon sugar for rolling
 
 
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a muffin tin.
Roll out puff pastry on a floured surface into a rectangle.
Brush with melted butter and sprinkle evenly with cinnamon sugar.
Roll tightly from the short end into a log.
Slice the log lengthwise to expose layers, then coil each half into a muffin tin.
Bake for 20–25 minutes until golden and puffed.
Brush warm cruffins with melted butter and roll in extra cinnamon sugar.
Serve warm or at room temperature.
 
- Use two puff pastry sheets for a bigger batch.
 
- For extra flavor, add a pinch of nutmeg or cardamom to the sugar mix.
 
- Best enjoyed the same day, but can be reheated in the oven.
