Ingredients

  • 250 g sirloin steak thinly sliced
  • 2 packs fresh or dried ramen or egg noodles
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon chili crisp optional
  • 5 garlic cloves finely chopped
  • 2 scallions sliced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • Squeeze of lime optional

Instructions

  • Cook noodles according to package and drain.
  • Heat oil in a large skillet over high heat.
  • Add steak; season with salt and pepper, sear 1-2 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
  • Lower heat; add butter and garlic to skillet, sauté 1 minute until fragrant.
  • Add soy sauce, oyster sauce, and chili crisp; stir to blend.
  • Toss in drained noodles and cooked steak; mix well to coat.
  • Garnish with scallions and optional lime.
  • Serve immediately.

Notes

Swap steak for chicken or tofu for a twist. Customize spice level with more or less chili crisp. Best enjoyed fresh, but leftovers can be reheated. Use gluten-free noodles and tamari for a GF version.
