- 6 cups thinly sliced peeled apples
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup old-fashioned oats
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- ¼ tsp salt
- ½ cup unsalted butter softened
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
Place apples in a greased 9x13-inch baking dish.
Drizzle apples with lemon juice.
In a large bowl, combine sugar, flour, oats, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt.
Cut in butter until crumbly.
Sprinkle mixture evenly over apples.
Bake for 45 minutes or until topping is golden and apples are tender.
Cool slightly before serving.
