- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 1-2 tablespoons ketchup
- 1 tablespoon mustard
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon dried minced onion or onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4-6 large flour or low-carb tortillas
- 1 to 1½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1-2 tomatoes sliced or diced
- 1 cup shredded lettuce or romaine
- Pickles sliced (optional)
- Sliced red onion optional
- Additional condiments like mayonnaise relish, or mustard (optional)
In a nonstick skillet over medium-high heat, brown and crumble the ground beef until fully cooked (about 8-10 minutes). Drain excess grease if needed.
Stir in ketchup, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, dried minced onion, salt, and pepper; reduce heat and cook a few more minutes to combine flavors.
Lay out tortillas and sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese down the center of each.
Divide the cooked beef mixture evenly over the cheese. Add tomato slices, lettuce, pickles, red onion, and any other desired toppings or condiments.
Roll up the tortillas burrito-style, tucking in the ends to secure.
Heat a skillet or grill pan with a little oil or cooking spray. Grill wraps for 3-5 minutes per side, until golden brown and crispy on the outside and the cheese is melted inside. Alternatively, use an indoor grill or air fryer set to 375°F for about 5-7 minutes, flipping halfway.
Remove from heat, let cool slightly, slice in half if desired, and serve immediately.
- Use lean ground beef (90% or higher) for less grease and easier cooking.
- Customize toppings and condiments to your preference.
- Low-carb tortillas work well for a lighter version.
- Wrapping tightly helps prevent filling from spilling during grilling.
- Leftovers reheat well in a skillet or air fryer to maintain crispness.
