- 1 cup warm water
- 2 ¼ tsp active dry yeast
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp melted butter
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley optional
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
Mix warm water, yeast, and sugar; let sit 5 minutes.
Add flour, salt, and olive oil; knead until smooth dough forms.
Roll dough into a rectangle on a greased baking sheet.
Brush dough with melted butter, sprinkle garlic powder.
Spread mozzarella and Parmesan evenly over dough.
Bake 15 minutes until golden and cheese is bubbly.
Remove from oven, sprinkle parsley if desired, slice, and serve warm.
Use fresh yeast for best results; add chili flakes for a spicy kick.
