- 4 buttermilk biscuits homemade or store-bought
- 2 chicken breasts sliced into 4 fillets
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp paprika
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- Oil for frying
- ¼ cup honey
- 1 –2 tbsp hot sauce adjust to taste
- Butter for biscuits
Marinate chicken in buttermilk for 15 minutes.
Mix flour, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
Coat chicken in flour mixture.
Heat oil and fry chicken until golden and cooked through, about 4–5 mins per side.
Warm biscuits and slice in half.
Mix honey with hot sauce to make hot honey.
Butter biscuit halves, place chicken inside, and drizzle generously with hot honey.
Serve warm and enjoy.
