Crispy, golden on the outside and gooey melted mozzarella on the inside, these cheese sticks are the perfect snack or appetizer. Easy to make and irresistibly delicious.

- 12 mozzarella cheese sticks string cheese
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs beaten
- 1 ½ cups Italian seasoned breadcrumbs
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- Oil for frying
Freeze mozzarella sticks for at least 1 hour before breading.
Coat each stick in flour, dip in beaten eggs, then coat with seasoned breadcrumbs mixed with garlic powder and oregano.
Repeat egg and breadcrumb coating for extra crunch.
Heat oil in a deep fryer or skillet to 350°F (175°C).
Fry sticks in batches for 1-2 minutes until golden brown.
Drain on paper towels and serve warm with marinara sauce.
Freezing the cheese sticks is crucial to prevent melting during frying.
