Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 6 strips cooked bacon crumbled
  • 1 small onion chopped
  • 1 can 10.5 oz condensed cheddar cheese soup
  • ½ cup milk
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 cups frozen or cooked tater tots
  • ½ tsp smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup crispy fried onions for topping

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Brown ground beef with chopped onion; drain excess fat.
  • Stir in bacon, cheese soup, milk, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  • Fold in 1 cup cheese and tater tots.
  • Spread into a greased 9x13" baking dish.
  • Top with remaining cheese and bake for 25 minutes.
  • Sprinkle with crispy fried onions and bake 5 more minutes until golden and bubbly.

Notes

Add diced jalapeños or BBQ sauce for a spicy, smoky twist.
Substitute tater tots with cooked pasta or hash browns.
