- 1 lb ground beef
- 6 strips cooked bacon crumbled
- 1 small onion chopped
- 1 can 10.5 oz condensed cheddar cheese soup
- ½ cup milk
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 cups frozen or cooked tater tots
- ½ tsp smoked paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup crispy fried onions for topping
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
Brown ground beef with chopped onion; drain excess fat.
Stir in bacon, cheese soup, milk, paprika, salt, and pepper.
Fold in 1 cup cheese and tater tots.
Spread into a greased 9x13" baking dish.
Top with remaining cheese and bake for 25 minutes.
Sprinkle with crispy fried onions and bake 5 more minutes until golden and bubbly.
Add diced jalapeños or BBQ sauce for a spicy, smoky twist.
