- Dark chocolate 70% cocoa, chopped – 150g
- Fresh orange juice – 3 tbsp
- Orange zest – 1 tsp
- Eggs separated – 3 large
- Granulated sugar – 2 tbsp
- Heavy cream – ½ cup whipped
- Pinch of salt – 1
Melt chocolate gently in a heatproof bowl over simmering water.
Stir in orange juice and zest until smooth; let cool slightly.
Beat egg yolks into melted chocolate until combined.
Whip egg whites with a pinch of salt until soft peaks form; add sugar gradually.
Fold whipped cream and egg whites gently into chocolate mixture.
Spoon into serving glasses and chill for at least 2 hours before serving.
Garnish with orange zest curls or chocolate shavings before serving.
Use high-quality dark chocolate for best flavor.
For extra aroma, add a splash of orange liqueur (like Grand Marnier).
Can be made a day ahead—just keep chilled until ready to serve.
