Crispy, golden phyllo rolls filled with tangy feta, fresh dill, and garlic, baked to perfection. Drizzled with a sweet and spicy chili honey sauce, these rolls make a perfect appetizer or snack that’s bursting with flavor and texture.

Ingredients
  

  • 8 oz crumbled feta cheese
  • 2 tbsp fresh dill chopped
  • 1 clove garlic grated
  • 18 sheets phyllo dough thawed
  • 3 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil for brushing
  • 1 tbsp salted butter
  • tsp chili flakes
  • ½ tsp cumin seeds
  • cup honey

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a bowl, mix crumbled feta, chopped dill, and grated garlic until combined.
  • Lay one sheet of phyllo dough flat on a clean surface and fold in half lengthwise. Brush edges with olive oil.
  • Spoon a small amount of feta mixture near one end. Roll tightly, tucking in sides as you go. Place roll seam-side down on baking sheet. Repeat.
  • Brush tops of rolls with olive oil. Bake for 20 minutes or until golden and crispy.
  • While baking, melt butter and olive oil in a small pan over low heat. Add chili flakes and cumin seeds; cook until fragrant. Remove from heat and stir in honey.
  • Drizzle warm rolls with chili honey or serve on the side for dipping.

Notes

  • Be gentle while handling phyllo to prevent tearing; cover unused sheets with a damp cloth.
  • Adjust chili flakes for desired spice level in the honey.
  • These rolls can be reheated in the oven or air fryer for crispiness.
  • Serve as an appetizer or with a fresh salad for a light meal
