Ingredients
  

  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter softened
  • ¾ cup all-purpose flour
  • ¼ tsp garlic powder
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp finely chopped fresh basil or 1 tsp dried
  • 1 –2 tbsp cold water as needed

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment.
  • In a bowl, mix both cheeses, butter, garlic powder, pepper, and basil.
  • Add flour and mix until crumbly.
  • Gradually add cold water until dough forms.
  • Roll dough into small balls or flatten slightly for bites.
  • Place on baking sheet and bake for 10–12 minutes until golden.
  • Cool slightly and serve warm or at room temperature.

Notes

  • Store in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
  • Use smoked cheddar or asiago for flavor variations.
  • Delicious with tomato or basil pesto dips.
