Philly Cheesesteak Cheesy Breadsticks Recipe

These Philly Cheesesteak Cheesy Breadsticks are loaded with juicy beef, sautéed peppers, onions, and gooey cheese — all packed into soft breadsticks with a crispy golden edge. Perfect as a game-day snack or hearty appetizer!

Ingredients
  

  • ½ lb thinly sliced beef ribeye or sirloin
  • 1 tbsp oil or butter
  • ½ cup green bell pepper sliced
  • ½ cup onion sliced
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup shredded provolone or cheddar cheese
  • 1 can refrigerated pizza dough or French bread dough
  • 1 tbsp melted butter for brushing
  • ½ tsp dried oregano or Italian seasoning

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a skillet, heat oil and sauté beef until browned; remove and set aside.
  • In the same pan, sauté onions and peppers until soft.
  • Roll out dough on a lined baking sheet and stretch into a rectangle.
  • Layer cooked beef, veggies, and cheeses evenly over half of the dough.
  • Fold the other half over, seal edges, and score the top slightly.
  • Brush with melted butter and sprinkle with oregano.
  • Bake for 18–20 minutes or until golden and bubbly.
  • Cool slightly, slice into breadsticks, and serve warm.

Notes

  • Use pre-cooked steak strips for a shortcut.
  • Add jalapeños or hot sauce for a spicy kick.
  • Can be made in advance and reheated in the oven.
