- ½ lb thinly sliced beef ribeye or sirloin
- 1 tbsp oil or butter
- ½ cup green bell pepper sliced
- ½ cup onion sliced
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup shredded provolone or cheddar cheese
- 1 can refrigerated pizza dough or French bread dough
- 1 tbsp melted butter for brushing
- ½ tsp dried oregano or Italian seasoning
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
In a skillet, heat oil and sauté beef until browned; remove and set aside.
In the same pan, sauté onions and peppers until soft.
Roll out dough on a lined baking sheet and stretch into a rectangle.
Layer cooked beef, veggies, and cheeses evenly over half of the dough.
Fold the other half over, seal edges, and score the top slightly.
Brush with melted butter and sprinkle with oregano.
Bake for 18–20 minutes or until golden and bubbly.
Cool slightly, slice into breadsticks, and serve warm.
- Use pre-cooked steak strips for a shortcut.
- Add jalapeños or hot sauce for a spicy kick.
- Can be made in advance and reheated in the oven.
