Ingredients
  

  • 1 roll refrigerated sugar cookie dough
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ cup powdered sugar optional for dusting

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x9-inch baking dish.
  • Press half of the cookie dough evenly into the bottom of the dish.
  • In a bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar, egg, and vanilla until smooth.
  • Spread cheesecake mixture evenly over the cookie dough layer.
  • Crumble remaining cookie dough over the cheesecake layer.
  • Bake 30–35 mins until golden and set in the center.
  • Cool completely, dust with powdered sugar if desired, and cut into bars.

Notes

  • Chill before cutting for neat slices.
  • Add sprinkles for a festive touch.
  • Store in refrigerator for up to 5 days.
