Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup plain flour all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup softened butter
  • ¾ cup cheddar cheese grated
  • cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Mix flour, butter, cheddar, and Parmesan in a large bowl until a dough forms.
  • Roll the dough onto a floured surface to about 5mm thickness.
  • Cut into circles about 2 inches in diameter using a cookie cutter.
  • Place biscuits on a lightly floured baking sheet.
  • Bake for 12 minutes until golden and crisp.
  • Cool on a wire rack and serve warm.

Notes

Use sharp cheddar for stronger flavor; Parmesan helps create a crisp texture. Dough can be refrigerated before baking for convenience. You can add herbs like rosemary or thyme for extra aroma.
