- 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 2 tbsp sugar
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 ¼ cups plant-based milk almond, soy, or oat
- 2 tbsp coconut oil or vegetable oil
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Preheat waffle iron according to manufacturer’s instructions.
In a bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt.
Add plant-based milk, oil, and vanilla; mix until smooth.
Lightly grease waffle iron if needed and pour in batter.
Cook until golden and crispy (about 4-5 minutes).
Serve hot with maple syrup, fruits, or nuts.
- You can add 1 tsp of cinnamon or nutmeg for extra flavor
- Let waffles cool on a wire rack for crispiness.
