Ingredients
  

  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 ¼ cups plant-based milk almond, soy, or oat
  • 2 tbsp coconut oil or vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions
 

  • Preheat waffle iron according to manufacturer’s instructions.
  • In a bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt.
  • Add plant-based milk, oil, and vanilla; mix until smooth.
  • Lightly grease waffle iron if needed and pour in batter.
  • Cook until golden and crispy (about 4-5 minutes).
  • Serve hot with maple syrup, fruits, or nuts.

Notes

  • You can add 1 tsp of cinnamon or nutmeg for extra flavor
  • Let waffles cool on a wire rack for crispiness.
  • For a gluten-free option, use 1:1 gluten-free flour blend.
