- Dark chocolate 70% cocoa, chopped – 150g
- Heavy cream – ½ cup whipped
- Eggs separated – 2 large
- Sugar – 1 tbsp
- Pinch of salt – 1
- For the White Chocolate Layer:
- White chocolate chopped – 150g
- Heavy cream – ½ cup whipped
- Eggs separated – 2 large
- Sugar – 1 tbsp
- Vanilla extract – ½ tsp
Melt dark chocolate gently over simmering water; let cool slightly.
Beat egg yolks into melted dark chocolate. In a separate bowl, beat egg whites with sugar and salt until soft peaks form.
Fold whipped cream and egg whites gently into chocolate until smooth. Set aside.
Repeat the same process for the white chocolate layer, adding vanilla extract for extra flavor.
Spoon or pipe a layer of dark chocolate mousse into serving glasses; refrigerate 15 minutes.
Add a layer of white chocolate mousse on top and chill for at least 2 hours until fully set.
Garnish with chocolate curls, cocoa dust, or berries before serving.
For a festive twist, add a splash of coffee liqueur or orange zest to the dark layer.
Chill glasses before layering for cleaner presentation.
Can be made up to 1 day in advance — just keep refrigerated until serving time.
