Ingredients
  

  • 6 –7 fresh peaches peeled and sliced
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • ½ cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon optional

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Place melted butter in a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  • In a bowl, whisk flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  • Stir in milk and vanilla until smooth.
  • Pour batter over melted butter (do not stir).
  • Evenly spoon peaches and their juices over batter.
  • Sprinkle cinnamon on top if desired.
  • Bake for 40–45 minutes until golden brown.
  • Cool slightly before serving warm.

Notes

  • You can use canned peaches (drained) when fresh are not in season.
  • Serve with ice cream or whipped cream for extra indulgence.
  • Adjust sugar based on peach sweetness.
